Dallas Rowing Club

Join us at the boathouse, 2827 Shorecrest Drive, Dallas, Texas, for an exhilarating ergathon Saturday, April 27, to raise funds for three new club boats.  We’re inviting you to help us reach our goal of $30,000 to purchase two new Hudson doubles and one new Hudson quad. We need your help and encouragement! We will have six ergs running for six hours, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with the goal of hitting 500,000 meters and $30,000 by the end of the day—if not before!

April 27 Ergathon Schedule

10 a.m. - Ergathon begins. 

10:30-11:45 a.m. - Friends & Family Learn to Row! 

11 a.m. - Silent auction opens.

12 a.m. - Potluck (main dish provided; bring a dish to share and BYOB)

1 a.m. - Boat christening

2:30 a.m. - Silent auction closes.

3 a.m. - Ergathon ends.

How You Can Help

• Attend the ergathon! This will be a fun event for rowers to work together toward a common goal of purchasing three new boats for our club fleet.

• Sign up to erg!

• Donate or pledge per meters rowed! 

  • Check with your employer to see if you can double your donation. Many companies offer matching gift programs, often matching dollar for dollar. 

• Bid on silent auction items.  This is your chance to win a Concept 2 dynamic erg, DRC engraved Yeti cup, or other fun items!  

• Invite your friends and family to join us during the ergathon. They can hop in a boat, tour our boathouse, and enjoy food and fellowship.
