The Dallas Rowing Club was founded in 1983 to provide the city of Dallas and surrounding communities the opportunity to learn the sport of rowing.

We offer programs suitable for rowers of all ages and experience levels. Whether you are a lifelong oarsmen or new to the sport, there is a place for you at DRC. Please browse the rest of our website to find more information on the program that is right for you.  

Bachman Lake is the home of the DRC. It is a freshwater lake located in northwest Dallas. It covers 205 acres and lies on the northwest boundary of Dallas Love Field Airport. It was originally constructed in 1903 and today is a recreational area surrounded by parks.

The John Mullen Boathouse is an award winning, three bay facility designed in the traditional style of the boathouses along the Charles and Schuylkill rivers. It received a Design Citation from the Dallas Chapter of the American Institute of Architects and has welcomed rowers from around the world to Dallas.
